Memory Impairment must be considered

Their memories are very vital in human life. Imagine if humans are not blessed memory. Surely we cannot function as it is today. We cannot remember family members, homes, our friends, even our own self-identity, let alone working on complex tasks. All this requires the ability to remember.

Their memories are often decreases with increasing age. This decrease was associated with decreased brain function in the aging process. Sometimes the memory loss occurs at the relatively young age. This issue will certainly be disturbing and make work performance declines, especially if to disrupt daily activities.

All originated from the brain. The brain is command central for all human activities: move, feel, think, speak, emotion, remembering, imagining, reading, writing, arithmetic, and others.

Disturbances in the metabolism in the brain, impaired blood flow, oxygen and glucose to the brain, and various diseases that attack the brain cells can interfere with brain function. Such that there arose various symptoms according to the affected parts of the brain.

Of all the activities that are coordinated by the brain, it includes the so-called noble function. Noble function in humans includes five components consisting of: the function of language, memory (memory), visuospasial (orientation space), emotion and cognition (memory).

All these noble functions of the components work together in determining one's mind and behavior. Of the five components, the function of memory or your memory is a central capability.

Forgotten
If a person cannot recall ever obtaining information. then he had forgotten. For example, forgetting people's names, forgetting names of objects, forgotten to put stuff, and so forth. Easy to forget is a phenomenon that is often found in everyday life, especially in elderly people.

Aging process cannot be prevented. Along with age, there will be deterioration of brain function, including memory functions. Even so must be distinguished between the decline in memory functions that are still "normal" in line with age with a severe decline in memory function. The degree of severity of memory impairment from mild to severe were:
1. Easy to forget (forgetfullness)
2. Mild cognitive impairment (mild cognitive impairment)
3. Senility (dementia)

Here are tips for maintaining memory optimally as long as possible:
* Taking into account the health condition
* Improving diet and lifestyle
* Stay active despite advanced age (train your brain)
