Daydreaming Can Eliminate Your Memory

Everyone must have been daydreaming and fantasizing about the future or something that is beautiful. Do mostly because daydreaming daydreaming can make people lose some of its memory.

Have you had difficulty remembering events before you daydream? If so, then it is normal.

Recent research has found that while daydreaming or mind to pensive everywhere, can cause partial loss of memory, especially memory before one starts to daydream. The farther your mind drift while daydreaming, it will be more severe memory loss.

Previous studies also found that thinking about something else, either daydreaming or mind wandering (mind-wandering), can block access to the memories or the memories of the past.

In the new study, scientists investigated several participants. Participants were divided into two groups.

The first group was asked to see the list of words that appear on a computer screen, one by one. Then participants were asked to daydreaming, thinking about events that interest him. Furthermore, both groups of participants were only asked to see a list of words, without daydreaming.

At the end of the test, both groups of participants were asked to recall as many words what he saw from the list.

The result, the group was asked to daydream just tie a few words in comparison with the group who did not daydream. This suggests that daydreaming can eliminate most of the newly acquired memory.

This study has been published in Psychological Science, a journal of the Association for Psychological Science.

"Daydreaming can make you feel in different situations, because you can not remember events that happened before you daydream," said Peter F. Delaney of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, as reported from Psychcentral, Friday (30/07/2010)

If you want to get the maximum benefits of tea, choose a tea brewed with warm water instead of bottled ready to drink tea. According to research presented at the National Meeting of the American Chemical Society, instant tea contains antioxidants and polyphenols levels are very low.

"Consumers actually understand the concept of the benefits of drinking tea and eating other tea products. But here was the perception that large distances between healthy eating tea with the exact amount of nutrients in the tea ready to drink," said one researcher, Shiming Li, PhD, as quoted from NY Daily News.

Actually, lack of ready to drink tea not only because of very low nutrient levels, but also a very high sugar content. The team of researchers find out by measuring the levels of tea polyphenols on the six brands in the market.

Half of the brands are known to virtually no antioxidant and polyphenol content is very small. Tea is packed in bags usually contain 175 milligrams of polyphenols, two times greater than the tea ready to drink.

The reason why the nutritional content of tea ready to drink very little was quite a dilemma. According to Li, the company deliberately reduce levels of polyphenols in tea packaging in order to win the market. Therefore, the main nutrients in tea that gives the effect of the bitter taste that is not preferred by consumers.
