Technology TV shows and movies into 3-dimensional now. But behind the technological advances, doctors found that the 3D display has a health impact to the viewers.
American Association of Optometrists (association optometrists) conducted an online survey to its 3D viewing audience. The result, a quarter of survey respondents said their eyes were dizzy, dizziness, headache, eye pain, and nausea.
The survey results also suggested, the audience who feel the impact of this kapok 3D watch again. According to Martin Banks, an expert in the eyes of UCLA Berkeley, the impact of the 3D display objects to the eye due to impressions that 'fool' the human eye.
The human eye is usually frozen and continue to focus on one object when the object was approached. But do not make a 3D impression approaching object but showed a series of other objects, this makes the optic nerve to work harder to focus.
"This is what makes your eyes feel uncomfortable and tired when watching 3D," said Banks.
Eye Specialists Association of England, also issued a warning against the impact of 3D Nintendo gadget to the children. According to Nintendo, the eyes of the children need a clear and sharp display for eye development. But 3D impressions do not do this.
"Kids have to rest five minutes after play or watch a 3D display for an hour,"he warned.
3D Impressions bombed the first time consumers through the film. One of the most successful 3D movie Avatar which is pulled in 237 million pounds for the 3D version. Television stations in the UK, Sky, also plans to air the show that requires viewers to use 3D glasses.
